These Mini No-Bake Chocolate Bites only require a handful of ingredients and can be prepared in 10-15 minutes. A perfect snack for everyone!
Welcome to another Tuesday Recipe you all! I have made a point of sharing a lot of easy recipes, not just the ones which require oven but also the ones which require no oven, no baking, just few ingredients and you get an amazing delight.
After every meal, I look for something sweet, just a bite or two but something sweet. So, I went looking for something and found a pack of digestive biscuits. The moment I saw those crumbly biscuits, next I know is I have already started chopping chocolates to make these mini delights.
If you haven't tried these before, trust me, you are in for a real treat. These NO BAKE CHOCOLATE BITES are incredibly easy to bring together and they just taste divine.
What you need?
For Biscuit Base
Digestive Biscuits - 6-7 pieces (medium sized)
Oats - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Melted Butter - 2 tablespoons
For Chocolate Ganache
Heavy Cream - 3 tablespoons
Dark Chocolate - 1/2 cup
Salt - a pinch
Coffee Powder (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon
Directions:
- For BASE - Blitz Biscuits and oats together until fine. Adding oats will bring out that extra nutty flavour.
- Add melted butter and mix again.
- The crumble will start to come together.
- For GANACHE - Bring heavy cream to boil in a pan. Add it to the chopped chocolate. (You can also microwave chocolate and cream together to make ganache. Keep a check and keep mixing after every 15 seconds. It will be done in 30-45 seconds).
- Now add salt and coffee powder. Mix till it becomes a shiny, creamy mixture. Set aside.
- For ASSEMBLY - Use cupcake liners, tart liners, etc to make these No- Bake Chocolate Bites.
- Place a small amount of crumb to set at the base of the liners. Press it to make it firm and keep in freezer for 5-10 minutes.
- Now take it out and pour creamy Ganache over the biscuit base. Smoothen the top and freeze again for 1 hour.
-Your NO-BAKE MINI CHOCOLATE BITES are ready. Now either dust cocoa-powder on top, or garnish however you like and serve.
Note:
- This recipe comes together in no time but it requires recipe to be followed properly. The right amount of butter in the biscuit base becomes essential for it to set properly without over-doing it.
- Make sure that Chocolate Ganache is creamy without any lumps before pouring on the crumb base. And it is important for it to be in the freezer for minimum of 1 hour for it to set properly. That will help in removing the liners cleanly without damaging the "Chocolate Bites"
